Installing Python InterBase Module

To install Python InterBase Module, follow these steps:

1. Extract the tar file in a directory of your choice.

   tar xzvf PythonIB-1.1.8.tar.gz

   
   
2. Run the Make.sh script to create the Makefile.

   ./Make.sh

   
   
3. Build the shared library interbasedb.so.

   make

   
   
4. Put interbasedb.so somewhere in your PYTHONPATH.
